Batata Cafe

Love this cafe! An excellent choice for those who are looking for healthy choices and for vegans and vegetarians. They also have delicious coffee and desserts. The staff is always helpful and courteous. It's a feel-good, cozy place to stop in and sit on that comfy couch, enjoy the sun by the window, all year long. Love the manager who always seems to be there.

Food was so good. Dessert was dark chocolate with almonds! Yumm...

We stop here for coffee and bagels after golf. Nice people, always bustling and good bagels.

I haven't been to this place for along time, however, my experience was great. The staff was extremely friendly. Looking forward to going back.

Delicious soups!

Fresh, delicious, eclectic though a little pricey. Nice sit down area inside but take out is very common.

Cozy little place with an impressive selection of foods ranging from sandwiches/panini to beet salad, juices, and fresh smoothies. I enjoyed their grilled cheese and soup combo and their Berry Berry Good smoothie. Prices are reasonable. They also sell an assortment of local chocolates, ice cream cream, pickles, etc.

I love this place ! I come in at least once a week and everything I've had has always been great. I think they should have a loyalty program since belly is gone and I lost all my rewards though 😀

Delicious vegan options! Their veggie burger is my favorite!! The customer service is great. Everyone is friendly, approachable, and attentive.

Did not have a good experience here. I went because of the vegan menu. The staff was not very friendly from the start. I asked for a vegan menu and the girl behind the counter seemed annoyed. They didn't have a separate menu, which is fine. When I found something I wanted to try the cashier pointed me to a case they have up front. I asked if it could be made to order and he said yes. When the food came mine was taken from the case and was not even the vegan one I wanted. When I brought it up to the girl at the counter she cut me off and said I'll go get my manager. The manager never addressed me. Instead she came out and spoke to the employee who took my order. Overall will not be coming here again.

Great little spot for wraps and salads. One of my favorite spots in Northport.

The past 2 times I was there they got the order wrong. They didn't really seem to care either.

The food was delicious. We met up with family at Batata Cafe and as a result had a chance to test a few different dishes. The menu has a huge variety and clearly marked in order to keep track of food allergies or just diet preferences. I would highly recommend that you stop by and bring your kids since it is a child friendly place.

Love This Place... When of the pleasures of loving in Northport is having the Batata Café....Everyone's very nice, the atmosphere is very calm. The menu has some wonderful different combinations, and week to week you will see new things. Honestly, a place that you don't get tired of.

Great food

Went there on Monday for family of 5 (3 kids). They did a great job and when combined with macadoos have a diverse selection to satisfy the pickiest eater. We had a grilled cheese, hot dogs, kids chicken tenders, ribs, and wings. All were well done and service was prompt. It was a little confusing when we first arrived into macadoos and it wasn’t clear where to order.

My go to for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. There is something for everyone on the menu-meatlovers to vegans! I personally love trying all the different vegan burgers they have a new one each week ❤ and I'm not even a vegan. Cannot beat the Warm pleasant atmosphere and staff. Love, love, love Batata!

This place is so nice. So many options for people with food allergies. Lots of vegan goodies!! Great atmosphere and really good food.

It has the best selection of natural, ready made food. Pricey but worth it! I could eat there everyday. I wish the dining area was bigger.

I've been making vegan choices lately, and their food, along with Sweet Annabelles vegan ice cream, was delicious.

I love coming here with friends. Its a cozy cafe with amazing food! They serve fresh salads, soups, veggie burgers, daily specials and more! They also have vegan options too!I highly recommend coming here.

This spot is awesome and roomy, the menu was delightful and the prices were very affordable. quickly, efficient service and very amiable staff. I recommend this place.

Me and my mom went for lunch and they have a variety of things that people can choose from vegetarian to vegan and gluten free options. I got the white bean burger. We split a black bean soup. Really good. We all loved it. The black bean soup with a white bean burger are amazing. Good service. Friendly staff. If you're ever in the area, go check it put. You will keep going there for ever and ever that's how good it is.

Over priced

Usually enjoy the food here, except my order this morning...I'd stay away from the Cinnamon French Toast (driest French toast we've ever had in our lives, couldn't even eat 1 slice) & the American Burrito. Unbelievable how a ~$10 wrap could be sooo small!

Cool place to stop if your town or just want a piece of chocolate. It's not cheap but it was pretty good.

I really enjoy the food at this small business.

I am always stopping here whether its just for a grandmas ice tea, an oregonian on a brown rice wrap (YUMMY), or just to see the bright and welcoming faces that work behind the counter. Kristen makes the world of Batata spin around from what i can see each time i stop in. Batata also has been catering my businesess Holiday party for the past 4 years and they alwasy deliver an amazing feast for us!

The absolute best place for good food. I can't say enough good things about this place. The food is fresh, generous portions, homemade and delicious. The atmosphere is adorable. You can sit down or take to go. The salads are the best and they have the best vegan menu you'll find around. Would recommend 10/10.

This place is a total hidden gem! I just went in looking for coffee, and they have a wide selection of quality coffees, chocolates, baked goods, salads, and so much more. And they have a lot of vegan and gluten free goods as well, for those who are so inclined. Great food, great atmosphere, great service!
